TF1 voted « Incumbent channel of the year 2013 »

TF1 has been voted "Incumbent channel of the year 2013" in this year's TV Notes survey, organised by puremedias.com, 20Minutes and RTL, which reported a record number of voters (465,073) on its website this year. TF1 also won best entertainment show of the year for Les Enfoirés and best foreign series of the season with Grey's Anatomy.

Commenting, Nonce PAOLINI, Chairman of the TF1 group, said : « I am delighted with this award, which acknowledges our channel's work on renewal, initiated by Catherine Nayl and Jean-François Lancelier. The vote strengthens us in our aim to bring our audiences more optimism, joy and irreverence through our programmes, with 20 new shows launched this season. It isn't enough for us to be number one in viewer ratings - we also have to be number one in the hearts of the French population. This is one of our objectives and this award is an encouraging sign ».
