THE TF1 FOUNDATION
SIGNS A NEW AGREEMENT WITH
THE MINISTER OF THE CITY, YOUTH AND SPORT
AND THE PREFECT OF THE VAL D’OISE
The TF1 Foundation, launched in 2007, has signed a new agreement with the French Minister of the City, Youth and Sport, Patrick Kanner, and the Prefect of the Val d’Oise département to foster the professional integration of young people from disadvantaged neighbourhoods in the company.
The new agreements follow on from the agreement signed in 2009 with the General Council of the Seine-Saint-Denis département that enabled the TF1 group to take on young people from disadvantaged neighbourhoods in professional training and host school children aged 14 and ovr as part of visits and learning initiatives.
In the last seven years the TF1 Foundation has welcomed seven classes of 18-30 year-olds from disadvantaged neighbourhoods to all Group subsidiaries to complete professional training, deepen their knowledge of the professional world and contribute to their professional integration.
Commenting, Nonce Paolini, Chairman and CEO of the TF1 group, said: “I am very pleased with the signature of these agreements, both of which will further facilitate our initiatives with young people. The aim of the TF1 group with its Foundation, Solidarity Committee and Diversity Label is to continue to actively promote young people from disadvantaged neighbourhoods.”
Over the years the Foundation has formed numerous partnerships on equal opportunities and committed to real-life initiatives including:
- The creation of a writing and drama workshop in close collaboration with Alain Pancrazi (PM Production), the HD1 channel and the art department of French drama at TF1,
- A partnership with “Talents Optimistes” to benefit from an additional network with young people in exchange for our HR skills,
- A partnership with the French American Foundation
- Numerous initiatives with top universities, priority areas and seminars
- A partnership with “Bondy Blog”, working closely with one of the founders, Nadine Nabili, which enables us to open up our recruitment network and seek out new talents.
