Christophe Sommet is appointed Head of Theme Channels in charge of the Ushuaïa TV, TV Breizh and Histoire channels from 21 September 2018, reporting to Ara Aprikian, Executive Vice President, Content at the TF1 group and Chairman of Theme Channels.

A graduate of ESCP and the holder of an MBA in finance from Austin University (Texas), Christophe Sommet initially worked in finance and consultancy. He joined the Bouygues group in 2001 as head of strategic studies, Media and Telecoms, and then moved to the TF1 group in 2004 as General Counsel of the Découverte division before becoming the division’s Executive Director in September 2013.
