For the purposes of the present general terms of use, the following terms presented with initial capital letters have the definition attributed to them below:

Content”: refers (non-exhaustive list) to the structure/architecture of the Services; the editorial content; the Player that enables users to read video, text, sections, graphics, illustrations, photos, images, sounds, and any other content carried on the Service; and/or any other item included in the Service.

GTU” or “General Terms of Use”: refers collectively to the stipulations contained in the presents, the purpose of which is to define the arrangements and rules for accessing and using the Service.

Player”: refers to the tool used to broadcast and read video, audio and/or photo files. The Player may incorporate a computerised Player code that enables any third party to display files from other sites or blogs using the Player, on the terms stipulated in Article IV.

Publisher(s)”, “we” or “us”: refers collectively or separately to:

TF1”: refers to TF1 SA, a Société Anonyme [limited company] with share capital of €42,048,414, registered number RCS Nanterre 326 300 159, registered office 1 quai du Point du Jour – 92100 Boulogne Billancourt – France, which publishes the TF1 Group Service.

Service(s)”: refers to the Website(s).

TF1 Group”: refers to TF1 SA and all the companies controlled directly or indirectly by TF1 SA, within the meaning of Article L233-3 of the French Commercial Code.

“Third Party Services”: refers to online services published by third-party partners and accessible from the Services, in particular via dedicated spaces and/or hypertext links placed within various sections of the Services. It refers inter alia to the website of an advertiser or of an institutional partner.

User” or “you”: refers to any natural person accessing the Service(s). 

Website”: refers to the online service that is accessible by a User from an internet-enabled device and is located at the following URL address and/or at any other address that may supplement or replace that address:

TF1 Group, accessible at the address www.groupe-tf1.fr and published by TF1.

The Website gives access to the Service.

I – PURPOSE / SCOPE OF THE GENERAL TERMS OF USE OF THE SERVICES

I.1 ACCEPTANCE OF THE GENERAL TERMS OF USE
The present General Terms of Use govern the use of the Service and imply total and unconditional acceptance of them by you. If you do not accept these GTU, you will not be able to continue using the Service.

The use of certain Services may require you to comply with additional rules or codes of conduct not specified in the GTU, which will be indicated to you on the screens of the Service concerned. 

I.2 CHANGES TO THE GENERAL TERMS OF USE
The GTU that apply are those that are in force when you connect to and use the Service.
The Publisher reserves the right to modify the GTU at any time, in particular to reflect changes to the functionalities offered by the Service or for legal or technical reasons. You will be informed of such changes merely by their being posted online. You will be deemed to have unconditionally accepted them by accessing the Service after they have been posted online. We therefore recommend that you consult the GTU regularly.

II – TECHNICAL TERMS OF USE OF THE SERVICES
- To obtain the best experience on the Website, we recommend the following settings:
- Enable cookies (otherwise your favourites will not be retained from one visit to the next).
- Enable Javascript.
- Minimum resolution: 1280 x 800.
- Browser: latest or latest-but-one version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari.
- Operating system: latest or latest-but-one version of Windows, Mac OS, iOS or Android.

If you use an adblocker, access to the Content cannot be guaranteed.

We may suspend your access to the Website, including for the purpose of maintenance or upgrades or for any other technical reason.

If you use a proxy (in particular within a corporate network), your connection to the Service may not work. In such cases we advise you to uninstall the proxy. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to access the Service.

III – GENERAL TERMS OF USE OF THIRD PARTY SERVICES
To provide you with the maximum information of potential interest to you, our Services may allow access to Third Party Services identified as such on the relevant pages of our Services. This may apply in particular to the website of an advertiser or of an institutional partner.
Third Party Services accessible from our Services are provided wholly independently by the partner or third party publisher of such services, and as such are their sole responsibility.
Publishers of Third Party Services have sole responsibility for their content and for compliance with all regulations applicable to the services you are offered, in particular laws and regulations that relate to distance selling, consumer protection, dishonest or misleading advertising, prices, and the conformity of products.
When you access Third Party Services, you will be bound exclusively by specific terms of use and/or sale applicable to the Third Party Services.

IV – TERMS OF USE OF PLAYERS
Certain Services provide Players that can be used to read and/or export video content and that are intended solely for personal use (for example, on the websites or blogs of private individuals). Unless otherwise agreed by the Publisher concerned, video content may only be exported to personal websites (i.e. websites not created for business purposes). 
Players are strictly restricted to personal, non-commercial use. Consequently, you must refrain from reproducing, copying, selling, reselling, modifying, exchanging or exploiting for commercial purposes, or in return for any direct or indirect remuneration, gain or benefit, some or all of the Players, or any use of the Players, or any right to access the Players. 
It is strictly forbidden for anyone to hide, delete or alter any broadcast Content, including advertising messages carried on the Players. 
You acknowledge that you have been informed that and accept that messages appearing on scrolling banners in programmes at the time they are broadcast on television channels (TF1, TF1 Séries Films, TMC, TFX) are no longer effective when those programmes are broadcast as video on demand via the Services.
This applies in particular to messages indicating that a programme is accessible to deaf and hearing-impaired people, messages inviting viewers to text or call a special number to vote or take part in a game or competition, etc. Consequently, you acknowledge and accept that you have no recourse in this respect. 

V – DISCLAIMER
You accept that you are perfectly aware of the risks specific to the internet and networks, and in particular that networks are not immune from viruses. We therefore recommend that you install anti-virus software to protect your browsing devices from viruses and other risks specific to the internet.
Subject to our best endeavours to ensure that our Service has a state-of-the-art level of security, we disclaim responsibility for contamination by any viruses that may be circulating on networks.

VI – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
The Content is protected by intellectual property rights for France and/or worldwide.
Any other use without the prior consent of the Publisher and/or other copyright holders will constitute an infringement of intellectual property rights and will be pursued as such.
Unauthorised reproduction in full or in part of some or all of the items shown on the pages of the Services is strictly forbidden.
TF1, TMC, TF1 Séries Films, TFX, e-TF1, LCI, TF1.fr, MYTF1, MYTF1VOD, TFOU, TFOU MAX, TF1 PUB, TF1 & VOUS are trademarks registered in France and in other countries. You are not permitted to use or distribute the aforementioned logos and/or trademarks in any way whatsoever without the express consent of the Publisher. Other names of products or businesses mentioned on the Service may be registered trademarks or brands belonging to the Publisher or to third parties and as such protected by intellectual property rights. Unauthorised reproduction may render you liable to infringement proceedings.

VII – SPECIFIC RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USERS OUTSIDE FRANCE

i. Users resident outside France

The internet is a worldwide network and you are informed that you must comply with all the rules applicable in your country of residence.
You may not be able to access some of the Content in order to comply with restrictions imposed by the holders of the rights to that Content.

VIII - LIABILITY
We disclaim all liability to you for any malfunction or interruption to the availability of the Service that is linked to or arises from:
- force majeure, as defined in Article 1218 of the French Civil Code and in French case law;
- misuse of the Service by you, or failure by you to comply with the GTU;
- any disappearance, loss or deterioration that may alter your computer equipment as a result of misuse on your part;
- non-performance or poor performance by an operator or internet services provider of their obligations under a contract with you.

Because of the innovative nature of the Service and our commitment to constantly improving the user experience, we cannot be held responsible for minor malfunctions and faults.
You agree to indemnify us and any third party for any loss arising from misuse of the Service on your part. 

IX – MISCELLANEOUS
If one or more stipulations of the GTU are held to be void or are declared as such pursuant to a law, a regulation or a final ruling by a competent court, the other stipulations will retain their full force and scope. The clause will be declared null and void and will be replaced by a clause as close in content as possible to the clause initially voided.
The internet is a worldwide network, and we remind you that you must comply with all mandatory and public policy rules that apply in your country of residence.
We reserve the right to transfer the rights and obligations arising under the presents to any company of our choosing.

XI – LAWS AND JURISDICTION
The GTU are governed exclusively by French law. Any disagreement or dispute not settled amicably within 60 days will be submitted exclusively to the competent courts.
