Agreements relating to the application of the statutory license from 1 January 2008 and general contracts of mutual interest concluded with the civil societies of producers of phonograms
TF1 had been assigned by the SPPF and SCPP, civil society, uniting of record producers, companies that challenged the fact that TF1 could use discs under the statutory license under French law introduced in 1985 and demanded compensation for the damage which they felt they had suffered during the period 1997/2005, as a result of these assignments, negotiations were opened during 2007 with all stakeholders to address the past, on bases consistent with provisions contained in the accounts, but also agree on new modalities for the future.
These new procedures were set in two sets of agreements, contained in an attachment:
- First, agreements on the implementation of the legal license from 1 January 2008 (in French)
- And secondly, general contracts of mutual agreements with each of the civil societies (in French)
- General contract of mutual interest (in French)
