Executive Vice President, Advertising & Diversification


Born in 1964, Régis Ravanas is a graduate of Purpan Engineering School and holds an MBA from HEC business school.

He began his career as a journalist before joining Warner Music and then Polygram Music (now Universal Music) as a Product Manager.

In 1995, he joined the M6 group to head up the new networks developed by the Group’s diversification subsidiary, M6 Interactions. He became deputy CEO and set up the publications division and the subsidiaries M6 Editions and M6 Evènements, which he chaired, in addition to the M6 Group record label. He also headed up the group's licensing business and the M6music.fr site.

In 2000 Régis Ravanas was appointed Chief Executive Officer of M6 Interactions. He joined the M6 TV channel in 2003 as deputy CEO in charge of programmes, running the units responsible for news magazines, entertainment, music, gameshows, reality shows, children’s programmes and short programmes. He was also in charge of broadcasting and programming for the channel. At the same time he was appointed Chairman of Studio 89, the M6 production subsidiary, and also acted as director of production, programme administration and production resources for M6.

Régis Ravanas left M6 in 2008 to become a producer. He joined the TF1 Group in 2009 and was appointed Executive Vice President, Diversification, and also Chairman of TF1 Entreprises, Téléshopping, e-TF1 (2010) and TF1 Vidéo (2011). In September 2013, he took on additional responsibilities as head of development for the Group.

In February 2016, Régis Ravanas was appointed Executive Vice President, Advertising & Diversification. He is responsible for running the Group’s commercial operations, including the distribution of its channels. His objective is to develop complementary revenue streams and activities, and to offer advertisers new services that build their brand value.
