Didier CASAS

Biographie

Born in 1970, Didier Casas graduated from Grenoble Institute of Political Science in 1992, and was awarded a Masters of Advanced Studies in law by the University of Grenoble in 1993.
He served as parliamentary assistant to the Member of Parliament and Mayor of Grenoble between 1994 and 1995, before studying at the prestigious École Nationale d’Administration (ENA) from 1996 to 1998. After graduating from ENA he was appointed as a senior legal officer at the Conseil d’État in 1998, where he was later promoted to the role of Master of Requests. He resigned from public office in January 2020.
Didier Casas served as government representative on the Disputes Assembly, and on other decision-making bodies of the Conseil d’État (2004-2007).
A lecturer at the elite Sciences Po school (1998-2000 and 2009-2011) and at ENA (2001-2004), he was also an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Law of the University of Poitiers from 2005 to 2008.
He joined Bouygues Telecom on 1 March 2011 as General Counsel, and was appointed Group spokesperson in 2013. He became Chairman of the Bouygues Telecom Foundation in June 2016, and Head of Administrative Affairs in September 2016.
Didier Casas has twice served as Chairman of the French Telecoms Federation (May 2015-June 2016, and March 2018-May 2019).
From February to May 2017, he was part of Emmanuel Macron’s campaign team, before returning to his position at Bouygues Telecom.
He joined the TF1 group as General Counsel since 2 November 2020.
