Yves Calvi is to join LCI this autumn

YVES CALVI ON LCI THIS AUTUMN

Yves Calvi is to join LCI this autumn to present a daily early-evening show.

Catherine Nayl, the TF1 group’s Executive Vice President News, said: “We are delighted and proud to welcome Yves Calvi to LCI. His arrival demonstrates our ambition for LCI. As an experienced broadcaster and consummate professional, he will be a great asset to our channel.”

Yves Calvi began his career at RFI in 1986 and then joined France Info, moving to Europe 1 in the mid-1990s and LCI in 1994. In 2001, he created the current affairs magazine C dans l'air for France 5, which he still presents today. In 2005, Yves Calvi took over Mots croisés, a bi-monthly politics show on France 2. He also launched Nonobstant, broadcast on France Inter in 2007, and has been lead presenter on the RTL morning show since the autumn of 2014.
