Reaction of the group following the passing of Roger Hanin

We have just received news of the passing of Roger Hanin.

All the teams at TF1, particularly those at French Drama, share the sadness of his family and loved ones at this difficult moment, and would like to pay homage to a towering figure in film, theatre and French television.

Roger Hanin will go down as one of TF1’s major figures through his role as superintendent in the Navarro series, which aired on TF1 from 1989 to 2007, and his role in the follow-up series Brigade Navarro, broadcast from 2007 to 2009.

With his multi-faceted talent and his generosity, Roger Hanin earned the affection and love of the French public.

Commenting, Nonce Paolini said: “Roger Hanin stands as one of the greatest figures in French drama on TF1. We have lost a major actor and a warm and sincere man, much loved by the public. All the teams at TF1 share the sadness of his family and pay homage
