Meet us

Aside from the links it has forged with audiences, not only on-air but also online and via mobile phone, TF1 is keen to get to know them even better. For more than two years, it has visited the heartlands of France to cement this unique link, often relying on partnerships with local media.

Personalities from the channel have toured the country, travelling to a hundred towns and cities to take part in a series of events with an apt title: “Community Days”.

Based on meet-and-greets, dialogue, and discovery (not to mention special gifts), the events take many and varied forms – with school kids via the TF1 Foundation, readers and audiences of local media, and the public at large for debates, preview screenings and autograph signings. In short, TF1 does everything it can to tighten existing links with its audiences.

Asked about the reasons for wanting to meet viewers, one TF1 personality answered: “Everything in life is give and take”. Another replied: “We exist thanks to our audiences, so it’s natural to go out and meet them”. It is that spirit of mutual generosity which underpins TF1’s Community Days.
