Women in the spotlight at TF1

For International Women’s Day, TF1’s News department, on an initiative by Christelle Chiroux, head of the Society department, honoured 15 women who have marked or are marking history in their respective fields. The 15 individuals included Chantal Jouanno, Tina Kieffer and Malala, former ministers, charity organisation directors, Nobel Peace Prize winners and everyday citizens. From March 6 to 8, five theme-based reports turned the spotlight on three women:

The Pioneers, directed by Gwenaëlle Bellec, with French Academy member Danielle Sallenave, lieutenant-colonel Solène Le Floch and ski instructor Mélanie Martinot. Go to TF1 News to read about the topic “Women’s Day: Succeeding in a man’s world”.
