TFOU d’animation 2015 featuring the environment

Each year, the contest « TFOU d’ANIMATION » (a play on word in French: « you’re crazy about animation ») addresses a fun civic thematic. After 2014 and the “Lire c’est délire” (reading frenzy) slogan for the promotion of reading, 2015 will be focused on the environmental thematic: “LE MONDE SERA PLUS BEAU, SI LA TERRE A MOINS CHAUD” (“The world will be more beautiful if the earth is less hot”).

2015 “TFOU d’ANIMATION” 6th edition: “LE MONDE SERA PLUS BEAU, SI LA TERRE A MOINS CHAUD”

For its 6th edition, the contest’s Youth artisticTF1 team chose to raise climate change awareness among children. This contest’s edition, co-organised with the SACD (Drama Authors and Composers’ Society) and in partnership with Ushuaïa TV, aims to promoting the protection of our planet and involving children.

The entry criteria are identical to those of the 2014/2015 edition of the contest. The winner will be picked by a reading committee and will receive, in November 2015, a 1000 euros prize, offered by the SACD partner. The film’s direction will begin in January 2016, with a 15 000 euros contribution from TF1. A preview will be organised in Annecy in June 2016.

The 2014 “TFOU d’ANIMATION” 5th edition: “LIRE, C’EST DELIRE”

In November 2014, out of 113different projects, Marie Manand, scriptwriter, was rewarded for her script “C’est reparti pour un tour!” (Let’s go for another ride!”). The 1’30’’ film, directed by Patrick Ermosilla and produced by Superprod, made its premiere on 18 June in Annecy and will be broadcasted during summer 2015, on various TFOU mediums (on air, web, mobiles, tablets, IPTV).

TFOU and the TF1 group also entered into a partnership with “Lire en Short” (“Read in your shorts”), the Great Youth Book Festival that will be taking place everywhere in France from 17 to 31 July. This partnership will increase the film’s visibility and allow it to reach the greatest number of children. The free event was advocated by the French Ministry of Culture and Communication and implemented by the French National Book Centre.
